Threads intertwining, reporters being silly

Thinking about the tv shows, books, and games I love most and have noticed certain similarities.

Different storylines that intertwine in a lovely, surprising way.

The authors designed them with intent and used skill to weave the different parts together creating an intricate piece of artwork.

Goal: designing a game that brings that richness, that connectedness, and delights players.

As well as one day turning this blog itself into a complex piece of artwork with designed threads interweaving.

Karen's Corner:

Watching a Daily Show from last week and two Fox news reporters were reporting on a split screen from what was supposed to be remote locations but turned out to be the same parking lot. Jon Stewart pointed out the bus and cars in the background and showed how they passed in each screen at nearly the same moment.  It turns out Nancy Grace and Ashleigh Banfield were in the same parking lot, just 6 spots away.  Pretty, pretty funny:)
